Wenger might leave

The Gunners are nine points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, and former midfielder Ray Parlour feels a bad season could see the manager leave
A bad end to the season for Arsenal could lead to Arsene Wenger leaving the club, Ray Parlour believes.

A 2-1 defeat to Watford on Tuesday leaves Arsenal sitting nine points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, who drew 1-1 with Liverpool.

After former Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul and Troy Deeney gave Watford a 2-0 lead at the Emirates just 13 minutes into the game, Alex Iwobi popped up with a goal for the north London side, though the hosts could do nothing to pull level.
It seems Wenger's side are already out of the title race given the gap to Chelsea. But, while that may be beyond them, they remain in the FA Cup and are preparing to take on Bayern Munich in the second round of the Champions League.
Wenger's contract expires at the end of the season and it remains unclear whether he will leave in the summer or sign an extension with the club he joined in 1996.

Former Arsenal star Parlour feels that the Frenchman's future hinges on the success of this campaign and believes that he will end his time there if it turns out to be another underwhelming one.
“He would know if he hasn’t done a good job this season, and I think he would walk," Parlour told talkSPORT of the 67-year-old.
“He wouldn’t go upstairs, I think he’d go back to France and that’s it.
